Captain’s report – Bob Unwin
The number of players has reduced? Is 20 enough? Fewer players means less money in membership fees. We spent a lot of money on the Xmas do but only 18 people turned up. We had 28 names early in November but expected more.
Next year, we’ll have the AGM in December 2011 and the presentation evening in Jan 2012. (Proposed: Bob U. Seconded: Mike G. Vote: Unanimously FOR)
We’ve lost a few members this year, some to Waterlooville GC, some to other societies.
The Captain’s Day for 2011 will be at Crane Valley. 27 holes, bacon bap, lunch and dinner on a Saturday for £45. Can’t be bad. Other courses have already been booked. Look out for Hill Barn at the end of September and a return to Chilworth in November, with a meal afterwards.
I’d like to propose a vote of thanks to Bob for another brilliant year

Treasurer’s report – Mike Griffin, Jason Bowles
Briefly: please try to pay your membership up front, and pay for each competition at the earliest opportunity.
No deposits have yet been put down for 2011: BU paying Chichester, MG paying Paultons

Vice Captain’s report – Jason Bowles
Also disappointed with the turn out at the presentation evening. Don’t forget that the evening is for the members. You paid for it, even if you didn’t attend. Totally supportive with Bob’s proposal to opt for a sit down meal, as more wives will attend the event.
