Limiting members and guests to 28 at each event

For 2024, we set a preferred limit of 28 for the number of players at each event. Since we’d booked for 30 we were actually able to handle 32 players. This year, 2025, we’ve booked for 26 players, which means there’s a hard limit of 28 players. This post summarises how we’ll deal with requests for guests.

• We have a maximum of 28 players in total, per competition.
• Members get priority for signing up, first come first served.
• 14 days before the competition we’ll allow guests, so long as we don’t already have 28 members.
• There’s a hard limit of 28 players per competition, due to number of tee times reserved.
• Members who say “No” will still pay subs.
• Members who are unable to sign up, due to the limit, will still have to pay subs.
