Once again we had to fork out more money than allowed for because we were not aware of all the birdies that were achieved.
It’s very simple really.
- When a player scores a birdie or better the marker circles this on the player’s card.
- Make sure you circle the score for the correct hole.
- DON’T circle results that aren’t birdies.
- When you hand the SIGNED card in to the Handicap secretary, proudly announce the number of birdies scored and who got them.
Then if we miss you out during the presentation it’s the committee’s fault.
Bad example. Handicap sec "Any birdies?" Player "Yes, Sam Fraser on the 4th, but I’ve circled the wrong hole so that you’ll miss it".
Good example: "I got one birdie on the first hole" said Rod as he handed in his card.
